The essence of cellular health is homeostasis or balance and resiliency. Our bodies are made to respond to changes in the environment to keep us living within healthy ranges. Temperature, blood pressure, pH, glucose, hormones and many more physiological systems all have a homeostatic range that it needs to be within to function optimally. If you go above or below this range you can get fatigued, sick or even die.
The logic and reason for initial benefits behind those diets is the particular foods in each diets possess unique functional properties. The problem with those diets is that over the long-term they all promote imbalance. They all work initially but their health benefits all eventually hit a hard stop. I have personal experience with each of those diets and many others and can attest to their long-term drawbacks.
